Our Story
I love hiking. From the fresh, green trails of the greater New York area all the way to the low, rolling hills of English countryside, I've loved hiking. From the blisters and the muddy boots, to the sweat-soaked shirts, I've loved hiking.
Yet, I grew up in a place where I never could find the chance to run outside and throw myself onto a trail. I worked like a bee in a huge city where the biggest patch of green you could find was a rectangular park, a beautiful place, and yet I always just rushed by. Life was busy, and there was fun, and there were regrets. One day, I decided to go outside and stop worrying about the day’s trouble. I found great snowy mountains, lush green forests and the entire, unfamiliar world outside of my concrete jungle and my little patch of green.
So I finally took a very long walk. And then another, and another, and soon enough I had dragged my husband(Z) into sharing my adventures. He wasn't quite as keen on the blisters and the sweaty shirts, or really anything else about hiking, but the scenery seemed to have captivated his eyes and his mind. The pictures are credited to him.
It's time that we shared our experience, with you - so maybe you can have your own adventure, starting here.
